Planning from Malaysia

China Journeys with Huangshan for Malaysian Travellers

Plan a private China journey with a substantial Huangshan chapter, family-aware pacing, and clear service responsibilities. Enquiries can begin in English or Chinese, while guide language and destination delivery are confirmed section by section.

Choose how HSLY supports the journey

Coordinate the complete China route—or appoint the regional team for one section

Both approaches preserve clear operating boundaries. The agreed proposal states which destinations HSLY manages directly, which use confirmed destination arrangements, and where another supplier takes over.

Complete China journey coordination

Use one planning and communication channel for the confirmed multi-city route, including accommodation, transport, guides, attractions, and destination handovers.

HSLY's strongest direct capability supports Huangshan and confirmed East China programmes. Beijing, Xi'an, and destinations outside that scope are coordinated through confirmed local arrangements.

Huangshan and East China section only

Retain your existing China arrangements and appoint HSLY for the Huangshan, agreed Anhui, or selected Shanghai, Jiangsu, and Zhejiang sections.

This option is useful when the wider itinerary is already controlled by the traveller, a family organiser, an overseas agency, or another China supplier.

Check the company, credentials, transport resources, and regional capability

HSLY's public company information explains the local foundation behind the journey. These facts support Huangshan and confirmed East China delivery without implying an HSLY-owned office or operating team in every Chinese city.

Route starting points

Match the number of destinations to the family and available days

A longer list of cities is not automatically a better journey. Protect rest, avoid repeated one-night stays, and allow enough time for the Huangshan locations you actually want to experience.

Understand the destination

Huangshan is a region, not one hotel location

The city centre, mountain entrance, mountain-top area, stations, airport, and Huizhou villages require different transfers. Resolving these locations early improves hotel, luggage, walking, and vehicle planning.

Huangshan City and Tunxi

Tunxi is the main urban base for the airport, Old Street, restaurants, and many pre- or post-mountain stays. It is not at the mountain entrance.

Tangkou and the mountain entrance

Tangkou serves the southern approach to Yellow Mountain. Hotel location, shuttle access, cable-car choice, and departure timing affect the mountain day.

Yellow Mountain

Cable cars reduce elevation gain but do not remove steps, queues, exposed weather, or walking between viewpoints and hotels. The route must match the group.

Huizhou villages

Hongcun, Xidi, and other villages are separate road journeys. Combining them well depends on the hotel base, arrival time, vehicle plan, and chosen mountain route.

Families and multigenerational groups

Plan around the slowest traveller, not the fastest schedule

Children, older family members, and travellers with different walking ability may need a shorter mountain circuit, extra recovery time, private vehicle support, or fewer consecutive hotel changes.

Share ages, mobility considerations, preferred room arrangements, and essential daily routines before the route is confirmed.

Language and dietary requirements

Discuss essential requirements before services are confirmed

English or Chinese enquiries

The first enquiry can be made in English or Chinese. This does not guarantee that the same guide language is available in every destination. Guide language, dates, and handovers are confirmed city by city.

Dietary and halal preferences

Share halal preferences, vegetarian requirements, allergies, and ingredients that must be avoided. HSLY can check practical options destination by destination, but does not represent that every proposed restaurant or meal is halal-certified.

Private transport and rooming

Vehicle size, luggage, child seating requests, family rooms, twin or double beds, connecting rooms, and accessibility requirements depend on confirmed local availability.

Mountain conditions

Weather, maintenance, crowd controls, cable-car operations, and trail access can change. Keep alternatives available and avoid building the whole journey around one inflexible mountain day.

Entry and official travel information

Review current visa-free conditions before travel

The Chinese Embassy in Malaysia states that the mutual visa-exemption agreement took effect on 17 July 2025. Eligible Malaysian citizens holding ordinary passports may enter China without a visa for permitted short visits, including tourism, for no more than 30 days per stay and no more than 90 days in each 180-day period.

The Embassy's FAQ also describes passport-validity, permitted-activity, accommodation-registration, and entry-inspection conditions. Travellers who plan a longer stay or activities outside the agreement need the appropriate visa. Requirements can change, and the relevant authorities make the final entry decision.

Share the family travel brief

Plan the complete China journey—or ask HSLY to operate only the Huangshan and East China section.

Include your dates, arrival and departure cities, traveller ages, preferred enquiry language, rooming and walking needs, dietary requirements, and the part of the journey you want HSLY to support.
